A cross - sectional descriptive study on 150 disposable wet wipes samples from 150 restaurants in Nha Trang city in 2019 to describe the disposable wet wipes contamination caused by a microorganism, in which it was to determine the microorganisms (total aerobic bacteria, total fungies), Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Candida albicans. The results showed that 68.0% (102/150) samples met the standard of classification level 2 of the TCVN 11528:2016. The average number of bacterial contamination disposable wet wipes was 5.6 × 106 ± 3.7× 107 CFU/g (Mean ± SD), min <10 CFU/g, max 3.5 ×108 CFU/g. 20.3% (12/59) restaurants used wet wipes contaminated with P. aeruginosa. The average number of P. aeruginosa colonies is 3.6×106 ± 2×107 CFU/g, max 1.4×108 CFU/g, min <10 CFU/g. S. aureus and C. albicans were not found from all disposable wet wipes samples. Nearly 40% of the disposable wet wipes samples were contaminated due to at least a bacterial agent. Hence, restaurants in Nha Trang should be aware of the disposable wet wipes suppliers for good quality products.
