This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the room fumigation process at the Center for Research and Production of Vaccines and Medical Biologicals (Polyvac). After one year of implementation steam with the company’s steam machine Phileas 75- DEVEA (France)
with H 2O2 7.4%, H2O2 injection flow 12ml/ m3, the fumigation process is carried out with a total of 22 times in 2022, 2023 is 9 steam sessions. During the steaming process, all environmental monitoring results according to WHO TRS 1044 Annex 2, 2022 through agar plates (Contact, air sampling, setting, particle counting) were satisfactory. Biological indicator (BI) concentration 103 G. stearothermophilus was completely destroyed, The ability to inactivate Measles and Rubella viruses meets the standards of Japan (reduction of ≥ 3lgPFU), materials and equipment are guaranteed to be non-corrosive and work well through visual assessment of external surfaces to see if they are affected by the fumigation solution. unlike stains, rust, roughness or peeling on the surface. It has been shown that the 7.4% H2O2 solutionis not affected, which helps the production process to achieve good quality.
