The development of clinical pharmacy practice in recent decades has resulted in a vital role for pharmacists in the patient care process. Initially, clinical pharmacy services were established in hospitals and then expanded to community pharmacies. Clinical pharmacy services at community pharmacies are still a new concept in some developing countries. In Vietnam, clinical pharmacy activities in hospitals have been promoted by state documents, however, these services at community pharmacies have not been developed. Therefore, to promoting the development of clinical pharmacy activities at community pharmacies and improving the quality of public health care, this review aimed to describe various types of clinical pharmacy services at community pharmacies in a number of countries in the world by reviewing medical literature from Medline/PubMed database.
