Abstract

Dengue hemorrhagic fever is a disease mainly circulating in the South of Vietnam. Dengue circulation and epidemiological features have changedover time. This study aims to describe epidemiological features in the South of Vietnam 2001 - 2020. Research results show that there have been some changes in epidemiological characteristics of dengue in the period 2001 - 2020. Dengue is still a high endemic disease in KVPN, with many types of DEN circulating and has a change of virus type circulating dominant over the years. The rate of severe dengue cases and deaths of dengue fever has continuously decreased. Have changes in the age of illness, the gradual change in mortality from children to adults, an increase in Southeast region.
