Abstract

A cross - sectional descriptive study combined retrospective study of 190 mothers with children under 3 months old was currently living in area 3 communes: Tan Dan, Thai Son, An Thang of An Lao district, Hai Phong city in 2019 - 2020. This study aims to describe the situation and some factors related to the rate of neonatal Hepatitis B vaccine in An Lao district, Hai Phong City in 2019 – 2020. Research results showed the proportion of infants was injected hepatitis B vaccine was 93.7% in the three communes. In there, 60.7% were injected within the frst 12 hours after birth, the rest were injected 12-24 hours after birth. Factors related to the prevalence of the neonatal hepatitis B vaccine included: mothers had the right attitude about vaccination HBV infants for their children; mothers received advice from medical staff and family consented about vaccination HBV infants for children.
