Occupational accident in craft villages in Vietnam is a major concern of public health that has received little research attention, especially in casting villages. A cross-sectional study among 384 workers in the bronze casting village of My Dong commune, Thuy Nguyen district, Hai Phong City aimed to describe the current situation of occupational accidents and associated factors of workers in this setting in 2020. The results showed that the rate of occupational accidents in 2020 was 10.9%, 11.2% in men and 7.1 % in women. The most common location in accidents was the head, face and neck (37.1%). The most common size was the product finishing area (46.8%). Low age, low working age, low education level, working directly in the casting process and no occupational safety training before working are the factors that increased the risk of occupational accidents in this subjects. Employers need to take measures to increase their knowledge of occupational safety and health as well as improve the working environment to prevent and eliminate risk factors of accidents for workers here.
