Evaluation on changes in mental health literacy regarding depression and anxiety disorders of high school teachers in Hanoi in 2024

In the school context, mental health is a significant concern. Among them, depression and anxiety disorders are the two problems with the highest incidence. Improve mental health literacy to detect mental health problems early and know support measures. The study aimed to evaluate the change in mental health literacy for depression and anxiety of high school teachers in Hanoi before and after the intervention program. A non – equivalent control group was used to evaluate the results. The results showed that at the intervention school, there was a positive change in correctly recognizing signs of depression and anxiety and the intention to support depression and anxiety issues, thereby leading to positive mental health literacy after intervention. Research has shown that there is a statistically significant change in mental health literacy for depression and anxiety among high school teachers in Hanoi.
