A cross-sectional study aimed to describ some factors related to inpatient satisfaction to the quality of medical services at the Medical Center of Nghia Dan district, Nghe An province in 2020. Patients were interviewed directly by questionnaire. The study results showed that the factors affecting satisfaction in patients were patients under 50 years old (OR = 1.68; p < 0.05), Kinh ethnic group (OR = 2.48; p < 0.001), family’s economy from normal and higher level (OR = 2.0; p < 0.05), patients treated at the Department of Surgery (OR = 1.81; p < 0.001). Factors such as gender, place of residence, education level, occupational, health insurance, number of times in hospital, number of days in hospital were not related to patient’s satisfaction. Hospital needs to pay more attention to groups of subjects who come for examination and treatment such as patients over 50 years old, patients with poor economic conditions, and patients treated in internal medicine to improve the rate of patient satisfaction.
