Assessment of the quality of life of patients with gynecologic cancerat K Central hospital in 2020-2021

The objective of the study was to assess the quality of life (QOL) of patients with gynecologic cancer at K Central Hospital from 8/2020 to 9/2021. The study was conducted on 700 female genital cancer patients at K Central Hospital from 8/2020 to 9/2021 through a set of face-to-face interview questions "quality of life of cancer research and treatment organizations European Letter (EORTC QLQ C-30)”.Research results show that the average age is 58.7 ± 12.5 years old; Cervical cancer accounts for 60.9%.. Scores of all functional factors have a positive correlation with QOL of cancer patients, the strongest being the physical factor (r = 0.50; p < 0.01). The proportion of patients feeling stressed is 52%, that of patients feeling bored is 64.6%, feeling tired is the highest rate is64.3%, and that of patients with constipation is 25.7%. The average overall score of QLO is 4.66 ± 1.17. There is a positive relationship between the QOL score and the total prognostic features.When the total prognostic features change by 1 point, the QOL score changes 56.19 points (p < 0.01). The above related factors explains 52.1% of the change in the QOL score of patients with gynecologic cancer (R2 = 0.521; p < 0.01).
