A cross-sectional study was conducted on 270 patients with chronic kidney disease undergoing routine hemodialysis therapy at Ha Tinh province hospital. We aim to describe the quality of life of patients, in the period from January to October 2020. Patients were interviewed directly by the KDQOL-SF 1.3 questionnaire. The results of the study show that the score of major kidney problems is higher than 50 points, in which the highest score in the field of social interaction is 78.37 ± 17.23 points and social support is 78.12 ± 24.65 points. The burden of renal disease has the lowest score of 29.55 ± 26.79 points. The quality of life of patients is 39.08 ± 6.98 points, and 79.6% of patients have poor quality of life. Physical health score is 33.71 ± 8.27 points. Mental health score is 37.44 ± 9.15 points. Nurses need to have a care plan to improve the physical and mental health of the patient.
