Cross-sectional descriptive studies have been performed in a number of hospitals and Medical Centers with delivery rooms in
Nam Dinh province from April 25, 2020 to August 31, 2020 with the aim of evaluating completeness and reliability off data on
the National Immunization Information Management System (System) in 2019-2020. With 356 children with ID codes issued by the hospital, most of the information is incomplete: address information (32.6%) and mother’s information (25.6% are premature birth year, 34% lack phone number). At the same time, this data is not highly reliable, information about mothers has 78.4% correct full name, 74.2% correct year of birth, 48.9% match of phone number; Address information: 29.5% correct place of permanent residence. With 277 children having been vaccinated with neonatal hepatitis B vaccine at the hospital with ID code on the System, 94% of children have their injection history entered into the System, 94.2% of joints at the date of injection and 94.6% of joints at the place of injection compared with reality. There are many barriers that make the quality of data on the System not as high as the lack of computers, part-time employees, and lack of consent from families in providing information. There should be a synchronous intervention in both training and communication to increase the quality of data
for the System.
