Abstract

Clinical pharmacy services are being
widely implemented in hospitals worldwide to
enhance the safe, rational, and effective use of
medications. However, in the field of obstetrics
and gynecology, there are still limitations.
The purpose of this article is to provide an
overview of clinical pharmacy services in the
field of obstetrics and gynecology and the
experiences of implementation at the National
Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology over
the past year. Various materials and literature
were collected to provide an overview of
relevant legal documents related to clinical
pharmacy activities in Vietnam, as well as
information obtained from Google search,
Google Scholar, PubMed, and data and reports
on clinical pharmacy activities implemented
at the National Hospital of Obstetrics and
Gynecology. These clinical pharmacy services
are an essential trend in hospitals and serve as
a clear demonstration of the role of clinical
pharmacists in caring for and treating patients
in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.
