Abstract

A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted on 300 students of Phan Dang Luu high school, Hai Phong from October 2020 to June 2021 to describe the mental health status of this group of subjects. Results showed that the rate of students with căng thẳng is 42.3%, the rate of students with signs of anxiety is 56%, the rate of students with signs of depression is 30%. About the severity of each mental health problem: Mild căng thẳng is 20.7%, moderate is 12.7%, severe is 7.7%, very severe is 1.3%; Mild anxiety is 23.7%, moderate anxiety is 17.3%, severe is 8.7% and very severe is 6.3%; Mild depression is 16%, moderate depression is 11%, severe is 2.3%, very severe is 0.7%. Schools and families need to take measures to support students to limit căng thẳng, anxiety and depression.
