Abstract

This analytical cross-sectional tissue study was conducted in Vinh City, Nghe An province in 2020 in children 2 - 3 - 4 months old to determine the at birth vaccination Hepatitis B vaccination rate and some related factor. Results: Of the 310 children participating in the study, 72.9% of children were vaccinated with Hepatitis B vaccine, 74.8% of them were vaccinated within 24 hours of birth. Factors related to the neonatal hepatitis B vaccination rate include Gestational age at birth, weight at birth, method of birth, place of birth, mother’s age, mother’s education level, occupation, knowledge of Hepatitis B, knowledge of
Hepatitis B vaccine, attitudes about neonatal Hepatitis B vaccine. To improve the rate of neonatal Hepatitis B vaccination in Vinh City, Nghe An province, it is necessary to strengthen training activities to improve and update knowledge for health workers and promote activities in the community about the importance of neonatal hepatitis B vaccination.
