Abstract

A cross-sectional study was conducted with 504 older people in Hanoi city by using the WHOQOL-OLD questionnaire to describe the quality of life of the elderly in Hanoi city in 2018. The research results showed that: The overall quality of life of the elderly was 74.94 ± 13,14 on 0-100 scale. The facet that scored the highest was Intimacy (77.95 ± 21) while the facet scored the lowest was the Sensory with 70.56 ± 21.31 points. The majority of participants had quality of life at good and very good level but there was 5.0% at medium level and 0.4% at low level.
