Some factors related to emotional stress among medical staff at Thai Binh Medical University Hospital in 2020

The goal of the study is to identify some factors related to emotional stress among medical staff at Thai Binh Medical University hospital in 2020. The cross-sectional survey was conducted on 146 doctors and 74 nurses in May 2020. Research results show that the study subjects do not participate in management work, the facilities are not adequate, and the mismatch between income and labor affects the level of emotional stress among medical staff. Management experience less emotional stress than other staff (21.8% versus 40.0%). The study subjects consider poor facilities as a factor leading to the highest level of emotional stress (61.5%). Income and unsuitable work are considered to cause emotional stress (60.0%). 60% subjects believe that a challenging relationship with their colleague also contributes to emotional stress. Healthcare workers who do not receive support from colleague experience more emotional stress (57.1%).
