The objective of the study was to describe the results of Mifepristone combined with Misoprostol protocol in second-trimester induction termination with prior cesarean birth at the Department of required services treatment of the National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology. A cross-sectional descriptive study on 43 women who terminated pregnancy
from 13 to 22 weeks of age by medication with cesarean scars was conducted at the Department of required services treatment of the National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology from April 1, 2021 to April 30, 2023. The results of the study showed that the success rate of the method was 100%, the mean induction-to-abortion interval was 16.5 ± 17.9 hours, the mean dose of Misoprostol was 700 ± 1000μg, the proportion of surgical intervention after placenta delivery was 81.4%. Conclusion, second-trimester induction termination using decreasing dose protocol of Mifepristone and Misoprostol with prior cesarean birth results high effectiveness, short duration, should be widely applied. However, the procedure should be trained and only performed at a surgically equiqqed department.
