Patient satisfaction with the quality of medical services at the Faculty of Traditional Medicine, Military Hospital 175 in 2020

This study aims to describe the patient satisfaction with the quality of medical services at the Faculty of Traditional Medicine, Military Hospital 175 in 2020. This study was carried out by face-to-face investigation 165 inpatients on satisfaction at the Department of Traditional Medicine, Military Medicine Hospital 175 in 2020 by questionnaires showed that: The average age of the research sample was 52.2 ± 12.8 years old, the youngest was 21 years old, and the oldest was 78 years old. The distribution by gender and age group was similar. The patient’s assessment of satisfaction was either very good (80.0%) or good (18.9%), highest in the question “Being examined and encouraged by the doctor” was almost absolute. Among
5 criteria under the guidance of the Ministry of Health, the percentage of patients being satisfed were the highest in the “accessibility” criterion. A small proportion of inpatients were most dissatisfed with the criteria of “facilities” related to the toilet as well as the cost of medical services. Average score according to 5 criteria of the Ministry of Health was 4.79 points. In descending order were behavioral attitude (4.88 points), providing service (4.80 points), information transparency (4.78 points), facilities (4.77 points) and accessibility (4.72 points). Military Hospital 175 should maintain and improve to attract more patients as well as improve treatment outcomes for patients.
