Knowledge about pressure ulcers of nursing students at nursing schools in Hai Phong in 2021

This study aimed to evaluate the knowledge of nursing students about pressure ulcers. A cross-sectional descriptive study on a total of 122 samples collected with purposeful sampling. The questionnaire consists of 22 questions divided into 6 sections to assess knowledge of pressure ulcers. The results show that over 90% of nursing students are female and 88.5% of students are in the 20-22 age group. Students with good knowledge regarding pressure ulcers reached 18.8%, the average level was 43.7% and the poor level was 37.5%. The level of good knowledge of university students is 28.7%, college students are 15.7%, and the poor level is 32.1% and 48.1% respectively. There was a difference in knowledge of pressure ulcers between nursing students of university and college. The difference was statistically significant when p < 0.01.
