Abstract

The study was conducted to describe the patient's satisfaction with the quality of medical services at the Medical Center of Nghia Dan district, Nghe An province in 2020. Through face-to-face interviews 500 inpatients by a pre-designed questionnaire showed that: The rate of female was 59.4%, male was 40.6%; patients aged from 18 to 29 years old accounted for the highest rate of 31.4%; the lowest was patients under 18 years old, 1.8%. The overall satisfaction rate of patients was 77.6%. The percentage of satisfaction of aspects in ascending order: Facilities to serve patients 74.0%; transparency of information and procedures for medical examination and treatment (76.6%); behavioral attitude and professional competence of medical staff (77.6%); the result of providing service 978.8%); accessibility (82.0%). The rate of patients’ overall satisfaction was not high, the hospital needs to improve and enhance the quality of medical services to serve patients, especially the patient's room need to be numbered; and equipped with a fan, heater, or air conditioner.
