The study aimed at describing the situation of the management of patients with Tuberculosis/HIV coinfection in outpatient clinics in Hai Phong City from 2016 to 2020. We conducted a cross-sectional descriptive study on 155 medical records of patients with TB/HIV co-infection and obtained the following findings: The patients with TB/HIV co-infection following the first-line ARV regimen constituted 94%. Among the types of tuberculosis, pulmonary tuberculosis is the most common (78.1%). The most common opportunistic infection found in patients was pneumonia (61%). The patients infected with Hepatitis C constituted 20.6%; hepatitis B accounted for 4.5%; Those with Cotrimoxazole preventive treatment formed 49%. The rate of good adherence to ARV treatment before TB treatment was 72.1% and that during TB treatment was 90.3%. The rate of successful TB treatment was 91.6%. The proportion of successful TB treatment of the group with good adherence (96.4%) was higher than that of the group with poor adherence (46.7%). The difference was statistically significant with p < 0.001.
