Some factors related to knowledge, practise on dengue control of inhabitants in Dang Giang ward, Ngo Quyen, Hai Phong in 2019

Abstract

A cross - sectional study was conducted on
400 subjects who are people of Dang Giang ward, Ngo Quyen, Hai Phong, from October 2019 to December 2019 to describe fgur out some factors related to the knowledge, practise on dengue control. The results show that some factors that were signifcantly associated with
knowledge including: occupational (OR=3.71; 95% CI: 2.10-6.56), education level (OR=3.69; 95% CI: 2.26-6.05); some factors that were signifcantly associated with practise including: gender (OR = 1.52; 95%CI: 1.02-2.30), education level (OR = 1.86; 95%CI: 1.17-2.96), occupational OR = 8.0; 95%CI: 3.86-16.53), dengue infected history of family member (OR=2.09; 95%CI: 1.01-4.30). There is a relation between knowledge and practise, the people who
have good knowledge were likely to have better practice at 4,88 times higher than people do not have good knowledge (95%CI:3.18-7.48).
