Some factors related to sleep quality in Medical students of Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 2020

A cross-section study of 407 medical students at Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy aims to describe some factors related to poor sleep quality. The results showed that poor quality sleep related to: effects of learning (stress or very stressful learning (OR = 1.98; 95% CI :1.28 - 2.08), go on duty more than 4 times/month (OR = 2.4; 95% CI: 1.46 - 3.96)), sleeping time (not getting enough sleep (OR = 11.11; 95% CI :5.57 - 22.18); sleeping late from 0 o’clock (OR = 3.98; 95% CI :2.46 - 6.16)), living habits was using stimulants (OR = 2.67; 95% CI :1.74 - 4.12). The research results showed that the university needs to increase communication about the benefts of getting up early, the harm of using stimulants, and organizing extracurricular activities so students have the opportunity to participate, socialize and reduce stress after learning.
