Patient satisfaction on medical services and some related factors factors at some Commune health stations, Soc Son district, Hanoi, 2019

Abstract

Patient satisfaction is an important indicator to evaluate the quality of care provided by a health facility. This study was conducted with the objective of describing the situation of patient satisfaction and identifying some factors affecting the patient’s satisfaction with medical examination and treatment services at some Commune Health Stations of Soc Son Medical Center, Hanoi. The method of cross-sectional descriptive research combined qualitative and quantitative with 135 patients
and 05 heads of health stations, applying the direct interview method using a questionnaire on patient satisfaction issued by the Ministry of Health with have been revised and applied to the health stations and instructed in-depth interviews. The study results showed that the percentage of patients satisfed with the service quality only accounted for 44.4%. Factors affecting patient satisfaction include facilities, professional capacity of health workers.
