This cross - sectional descriptive study aimed to describe the distribution patterns of digestive cancer patients at two oncology hospitals in Hue and Da Nang cities, Vietnam, from September to December 2022. Data were collected from 363 patients. The most common digestive cancer was colorectal cancer (51.7% in Hue and 60% in Da nang), followed by gastric cancer and liver cancer. The most common disease stages were III and IV, accounting for over 80% of cases in both hospitals. Gender and age factors were associated with the type of cancer, with colorectal cancer being more common in men and older patients. These findings suggest that colorectal cancer is a major public health problem in Vietnam, and that latestage diagnosis is still common. Further studies are needed to identify factors contributing to late-stage diagnosis and to develop effective prevention and early detection strategies.
