Satisfaction and some related factors of health service users in Ly Nhan district, Ha Nam province in 2022

Abstract

A cross - sectional descriptive study was conducted on 350 health service users to describe the satisfaction of users with the commune health services and some related factors in Ly Nhan district, Ha Nam province from June 2022 to December 2022. Research results showed that the overall satisfaction level of users with commune health services accounted for 80.5%. Health service users with a waiting time of fewer than 30 minutes were 9.4 times more likely to be satisfied with accessibility than users of health services with a waiting time of more than 30 minutes (95% CI:4,16 – 21,23). Workers and officers had a satisfaction proportion of 42% lower than that of farmers (95% CI: 1.87 - 3.22). People who used health insurance cards were 18.7 times more likely to be satisfied with service delivery results than those who were without health insurance cards (95%CI: 4.28 – 76.42). The satisfaction of users of commune health services was high, however, the commune health stations need to improve their medical examination and treatment processes and communicate well with patients to improve the quality of health services and satisfy them.
