Stress in healthcare workers of the Air Defense - Air Force at isolation facilities for COVID-19 cases in Hanoi and related factors, 2022

The study was conducted to describe the current state of stress in healthcare workers of the Air Defense - Air Force at isolation facilities for COVID-19 cases in Hanoi and related factors, 2022. The study was conducted from October 2021 to May 2022. The cross-sectional study design was applied with 300 participants. The study results showed that the proportion of stress was 43.7%. The factors related to
stress were age group > 30 years old (OR = 2.26, 95%CI = 1.42 – 3.62), female (OR = 2.46, 95%CI = 1.54 - 3.93), doctor (OR = 2.89, 95% CI = 1.05 – 7.94), worked for more than 1 month in isolation facilities (OR = 7.37, 95% CI = 4.38 – 12.41), expressing little emotion (OR = 5.26, 95%CI = 3.13 – 9.09), inflexible
in emotional expression (OR = 6.67, 95%CI = 3.85 – 12.5). Thus, it is necessary to propose a properly shift work scheduling, accompany with the actions that improve and relive flexible emotional regulation of the healthcare workers.
