Abstract

Reproductive health, particularly adolescent reproductive health, is gradually coming into focus around the world. A cross-sectional study was conducted on 423 pupils of Tran Phu high school in Hai Phong, aims to describe knowledge, attitude, and practice of reproductive health in 2019. The study results show that a low percentage of pupils have good knowledge, attitude, and behavior (53.2% have good knowledge, 52.2% have good attitude, 69.3% have good practices). Female pupils
have better knowledge on puberty (83.9% and 69.2% respectively), genital hygiene (80.5% and 69.7% respectively), and different contraception methods (83.9% and 69.2% respectively) than male students. 27.0% of the pupils asked disagree that masturbation negatively affects their health and 74.7% believe that the desire for premarital sex is normal. Overall, it is essential to raise awareness on reproductive health amoing adolescents.
