Abstract

A cross-sectional descriptive study was
conducted on 1721 pregnant women who
visited and managed pregnancy at Hai Phong Obstetrics Hospital from October 2017 to March 2018 to describe the status of HBsAg and HBV DNA high load carrier. Research results showed that the average age of pregnant women was 30 years old (SD: 5.3; 18- 42); 183 of 1721 pregnant women (10.6%) tested HBsAg positive; Among them 23.0% were HBeAg
positive and 13.1% had HBV DNA load >
200,000 UI/mL who all underwent mother-tochild transmission prevention antiviral therapy.
