Abstract

Patient satisfaction is considered as an important criterion to evaluate the reputation and service quality of health facilities.
The objective of the study was to describe the satisfaction of outpatients with health assurances at the clinic of Quang Binh medical high school. The cross-sectional study was utilized to carry out on 430 patients using health insurance cards for medical examination and treatment at Quang Binh Medical Intermediate School General Clinic in 2018. The results illustrated that the rate of patients using health insurance satisfed with medical examination and treatment was 80.2%. In particular, the
attitude and professional capacity of health workers came out on top (89.5%), and the lowest was satisfed with the result of service provision (76.0%). This study indicated that factors related to the satisfaction of patients with health insurance (p <0.05) including the distance from clinics more than 10 km; the number of visits to the clinic more than twice; internal medicine specialty or traditional medicine specialty; the medical insurance covering 100% for medical treatment. In the
research population, there is still a proportion of patients who are dissatisfed with the use of health services, therefore, it is necessary to have appropriate policies to further confrm the quality of the clinic.
