Abstract

The objective was carried out according to cross-sectional research of the project was to assess the situation of the implementation of regulations on internal control and the quality of fnished water in some major water supply stations in the southern region. The project was conducted to assess the work of internal control in the period 2017-2018 in 17 major water supply stations, according to the Circular No. 50/2015/TTBYT and to assess the quality of fnished water based on 109 indicators of QCVN 01:2009/ BYT. Results showed that 17 water supply stations carried out the water supply management
in accordance with the Circular No.50/2015/ TT-BYT of the Ministry of Health. However, internal inspection of sanitary status of water production systems has not been conducted regularly and periodically (17.6%), the logbook of the storage of fnished water samples has not been fully implemented (47.1%), frequency the testing capacity of the fnal product water of Group C is not guaranteed (64.7%). The results of monitoring the quality of the fnished water had 5/17 samples not meeting QCVN 01:2009/ BYT for the residual chlorine content, 1/17 samples did not meet 2 total Manga targets and Permanganate and 1/17 samples did not meet the standards.
