Abstract

Eating disorder (Anorexia - ED) is a dangerous mental disorder with behaviors negatively affecting the physical and mental
health of humans as well as work productivity and relationships. A study to identify ED conducted on 362 high-school pupils aimed to determine the rate of ED and describe some related factors. The results set out that 44.5% of pupils has ED and related factors including gender, breakfasteating frequency, depression, anxiety, stress, etc. have impacts on ED. Hence, schools should organize programs on mental health and nutrition education for pupils; families should pay attention
to and support them in terms of nutrition and the quality of meals, notably breakfasts.
