Knowledge and attitude of community health workers about methadone maintenance treatment in Phu Tho province in 2015

The cross-sectional study was conducted on 150 health workers in 30 commune health centers (CHCs), Phu Tho province from 2015 to describes the knowledge and attitude of community health workers of Methadone maintenance treatment (MMT). We collected data based on the questionnaire by self-flling. The results showed that 63.3% of community health workers had the correct knowledge regarding the replacement treatments of addiction drug with Methadone. Aproximately 60% of community health workers know that addiction drug is difcult to treat, approach and they have to confront high infection of tuberculosis. Knowledge of community health workers was unequal and they found it difcult to work with drug users.
