A cross sectional study was conducted on 454 households at Tu Ky district, Hai Duong in order to describe factors associated with health care utilization of residents in 2021. Results showed that majority of people use health services at commune health station were over 60 years of age (49.2%), male outnumbered female, and most of them were farmer (58.9%). There was a relationship between health services utilization and the following factors: age from 50 and below (OR = 0.2, 95%; CI: 0.17 - 0.75), being a farmer or children (OR = 0.54, 95%; CI: 0.24 - 0.86), had co-pay insurance (OR = 2.2; 95%CI: 1.22 - 4.14), not perceived as the health service cost was affordable (OR = 0.45; 95%CI: 0.26 - 0.79), and has mild illness (OR = 0.2; 95%CI: 0.12 - 0.49). The local authority and chief of commune health stations would need to figure out how to improve the quality of services at stations to attract residents to come when seeking for health care.
