Abstract

The study was done to describe the relationship between uncontrolled diabetes type patients with some risk factors at Haiphong Police Hospital in 2021. Subjects and Methods. Subjects included 281 patients
met inclusion criteria. The method was a crosssectional study. Results. Some risk factors that were significantly associated with uncontrolled diabetes type 2 patients included BMI ≥ 23
(kg/m2) (AOR = 1.76), habit of alcohol/beer drinking (AOR = 1.94), sweet eating habit (AOR = 2.91), diabetes type 2 patients with complications (AOR = 1.99), and poor family (AOR = 5.004). Conclusions. Nutritional factors, life styles of patients were strongly associated with uncontrolled diabetes type 2 patients at Hai Phong Police Hospital.
