Chronic hepatitis B virus infection is a serious global health problem. Monitoring of liver and kidney function plays a very important role in the treatment of chronic hepatitis B by nucleotide analog therapy in the treatment of hepatitis B virus. Therefore, we performed a retrospective 2026. Electronic medical records of patients diagnosed with chronic hepatitis B to describe liver and kidney function of hepatitis B patients after 12 weeks of nucleotide analog therapy at Hai Phong International General Hospital in 2020. Our study showed that 90.4% of patients in the study had FIB_4 index < 1.6 after 12 weeks of nucleotide analog therapy. Our study found that 46.7% of patients had eGFR > 90 ml/min. Next, 45.2% of patients had an eGFR between 60 - 89 (ml/min). The study results showed that after 12 weeks of treatment with nucleotide analog therapy, the liver and kidney function of hepatitis B patients was normal in the majority of patients. This result contributes to support clinicians in the process of monitoring treatment for hepatitis B patients to improve treatment effectiveness.
