A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted on 62 critically ill patients fed through tube providing with a high-energy nutrient solution (1.2kcal/1ml) produced by the Department of Nutrition at the Phu Tho Provincial General Hospital from January 2020 to November 2020. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of high-energy nutrient solution intervention in critically ill patients through tube feeding at Phu Tho Provincial General Hospital in 2020. Results: The mean age of the study group was 74 years old. The percentage of malnourished patients according to BMI < 18.5 was 48.8%, after feeding reduced to 45.2%; According to SGA, the proportion of patients with SGA-A assessment increased significantly from 48.4% to 58.1% after feeding. The average weight before the study was 49.9 ± 7.7kg after the study, increasing by 50 ± 7.8kg. Intervention with nutrient solution changed the biochemical and hematological indexes in which the change in ure, creatinine, and AST was statistically significant (p > 0.05).
