A community - based cross-sectional
study was conducted on 400 households who live in Dang Giang ward, Ngo Quyen, Hai Phong from October 2019 to December 2019 aimed to describe the situation of knowledge and practices on dengue prevention among population. The study showed that more than half of the total participants (54.0%) having good knowledge and 57.5% reporting good
practices. Mosquito-net and insecticide spray is the most common way on dengue prevention at the commune. The knowledge and the practice of preventing from dengue fever among community people is still limited. It is therefore
to improve the awareness of community
people on dengue control and prevention via communication is needed.
