The aim of this study is to describe the prevalence of thyroid disorders among infertile women and analyze the correlation between age and the rate of thyroid disorders in this population. A cross - sectional study was conducted on 2,144 infertile women who visited the National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology from January 2021 to June 2023. The prevalence of hypothyroidism among the infertile women was found to be 4.76%, subclinical hypothyroidism 4.29% overt hypothyroidism 0.47%. The prevalence of hyperthyroidism was 1.12%, subclinical hyperthyroidism 0.42% and 0.7% overt hyperthyroidism. Additionally, the rate of decreased FT4 was 2.01%. The age group from 35 to 45 had the highest rate of thyroid dysfunction, while the group over 45 had the lowest rate, at only 6.9%. Therefore, rejuvenation in infertile women with thyroid diseases will become a problem in the future so specific management and attention is needed to reduce the risk of disease.
