The study aimed to describe the level of physical activity and identify related factors among pregnant women at Tra Vinh Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital in 2022. A cross-sectional design was conducted on 220 pregnant women at various months through direct interviews using the Pregnancy Physical Activity Questionnaire. The results showed that pregnant women had the level of physical activity meeting the recommendations of the World Health Organization at only 20.9%. Multivariable logistic regression analysis revealed that the likelihood of pregnant women achieving sufficient physical activity was significantly associated with women’s exercise habits (AOR = 4.44, 95%CI:1.48 - 13.24) and those who had received information on prenatal exercise regimes from healthcare workers (AOR = 41.10, 95%CI:8.80 - 191.83). Conversely, women engaged in mental work (AOR = 0.02, 95%CI:0.002 - 0.29) and lack of family encouragement (AOR = 0.26, 95%CI:0.10 - 0.64) were associated with lower rates of sufficient physical activity level. Based on the research results, women of reproductive age, and pregnant women and their family members need to be informed about the health benefits of physical activity and exercise.
