The study described psychological burnout among medical workers at Da Nang Psychiatric Hospital and identified some related factors associated with the COVID-19 pandemic in 2022. This cross - sectional descriptive study sampled all 207 medical workers (response rate 88.9%/184) using a self-completed Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) questionnaire. The research results showed a high overall rate of psychological burnout (14.7%). Specifically, emotional exhaustion was 12.5%, negative attitudes were 6.5%, and low task completion was 24.5%. There was a significant relationship between educational level, professional qualifications, income, participation in epidemic prevention, workload, job intensity, and professional position with psychological burnout (p < 0.05). Therefore, implementing support and interventions for medical workers in this situation is crucial.
