Outcome of single implant supported crown at Hai Phong Medical University Hospital 2019 – 2020

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the results of single restorations on the dental implant(IM) system at Hai Phong Medical University Hospital in 2019-2020. The studyperformed 123 single hybrid cement-screw retained implants for 82 patients. The masticatory function with “good” level was calculated with 76.2% after 2 years post-loading, from 2 to 5 years was 72.1%; after 5 years was 81.4%. The masticatory function depended on both the prosthetics and the health of the periodontal tissue around the implants. Complications of prosthetics
include porcelain breakage (15.4%); loose vis (3.3%); 18.7% of hole vis with no longer binder, flaked cement was 4.9%. Research showed that implant restorations ensure good chewing function over 70% in 5 years of follow-up.
