Evaluation of some factors associated with single prosthetics on the implant at Hai Phong Medical University Hospital in 2019 – 2020

Abstract

The study aims to evaluate some of the factors associated with single prosthetics on the Implant at The Hospital of Hai Phong Medical University in 2019 - 2020. The study performed 123 single cemented prosthetics on Neodent Implants of 82 patients with fixed cemented prosthetics on the implant. The results showed that Smoking, diabetes were the systemic risk factors for bone loss with statistical significance. Periodontal history did not increase the risk of bone loss around the implant with statistical significance. Unbalanced occlusion, implant design without pedestal transfer approaches are the local factors that affect the bone resorption.
