Satisfaction on expanded vaccination services and related factor among mothers with children under one year old at commune health stations, Vinh Bao district, Hai Phong in 2019

This study aims to describe satisfaction on expanded vaccination services and related factor among mothers with children under one year old at commune health stations, Vinh Bao district, Hai Phong in 2019. A cross-sectional research about the expanded vaccination services was conducted among over 300 mothers with under one-year-old children in five communes of Vinh Bao district, Hai Phong. The overall satisfaction rate of mothers with expanded vaccination services at the commune health stations was 74.0% and the rate of not being satisfied was 26.0%. 17.0% of the mothers said that the health workers were really caring and attentive to children and mothers while 43.7% felt that they were caring and attentive. 37.7% of the mothers said that the health workers had a normal attitude and only 0.2% said they were indifferent. 3.7% said that the quality of vaccination service was very good; 54.0% said it was good; 42.0% felt it was acceptable and 0.3% thought that the quality was very poor. There was a difference in the levels of satisfaction with the vaccination service between the mothers who regularly received consultation before vaccination (80.3%) and the mothers who did not receive regular consultation before vaccination (46.4%). There was a difference in the levels of satisfaction with the vaccination services between the mothers who regularly had consultation after vaccination (79.5%) and those who did not receive regular consultation after vaccination (62.1%).
