Clinical and subclinical epidemiological characteristics of lower respiratory tract infections caused by respiratory syncytial virus in children from 2 months to 15 years of age at Saintpaul hospital

Children's lower respiratory infections is a common disease. This study aims to describe the clinical epidemiological characteristics of RSV. Describe clinical and subclinical symptoms through medical examination and retrospective, monitor treatment processin 201 children with RSV, in the Saint Paul Hospital from June 1, 2018 to May 31, 2019. Results: The results showed that the average age of the children infected was 6.48 ± 2.46 (months), common disease in winter 40.4%. Cough symptoms are present in 96.8% of patients, 95.5% of patients have wheeze, 15.8% of patients have fever and 92.1% of patients have rales sound in the lungs. In X-ray lungs films with diffuse lesions (77.5%), CRP doesn’t increased (1.04m/L), normal white blood cell count (10.34 ± 3.49).
