Abstract

The cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted through self-flled health questionnaires of 7714 workers in some hospitals in the Northern region of Viet Nam to describe the health status and some factors related to employees’ health in 2018. The research results show that: 6.3% of employees were injured while working, in which injuries caused by sharp objects account for the highest rate of 70.0%.Night shift frequency of employees>once time/ week accounted for 33.8%.Nearly 64% of employees lost their sleep and the frequency of insomnia was>= once time/week.Over 90% of employees with symptoms of fatigue after work.Around 10% of employees rated stress level at work as high. 29.3% of health workers experienced violence during work.
