Research on work motivation and some related factors of the medical staff at Da Nang Psychiatric Hospital in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic

This study aims to describe work motivation and factors related to the context of the COVID-19 pandemic of the medical staff at Da Nang Psychiatric Hospital. A cross-sectional descriptive study sampled all 230 health workers (response rate 91.3%) from June 2021 to October 2022 at Da Nang Psychiatric Hospital. This research uses the motivation scale including 06 factors with a total of 32 sub-items with a minimum score is 32 points and a maximum is 160 points. Research results show that the work motivation of the medical staff of Da Nang Psychiatric Hospital has an average score of 3.6 points. There is a relationship between the factors of education level, marital status, work intensity, participation in direct treatment with patients with COVID-19, pressure of 5K compliance with work motivation of medical staff at Da Nang Psychiatric Hospital
