Quality of biochemistry and hematology labotories of Military Hospital 91 in 2022

Abstract

A cross - sectional descriptive study was conducted at the testing department of Military Hospital 91 to describe the status of the quality of the biochemical and hematology laboratories of Military Hospital 91 in 2022. All results of external testing were selected, including 120 hematology test results and 252 biochemical test results which were tested and sent result by GS Medical Solutions Joint Stock Company, Directorate of Military Medicine, Ministry of Defence. Results showed that overall quality level of the Military Hospital’s laboratory in 2022 will reach 83.8%, reaching 3/5 of the laboratory quality classification. Overall external assessment of hematology test results, 99.2% of samples had acceptable results, 0.8% of samples had reconsidered results. For biochemical external assessment, 98.4% of samples had acceptable results, 0.5% of samples had reconsidered results and 1.1% of samples had erroneous results. It concludes that the biochemistry and hematology laboratory at Military Hospital 91 have guaranteed quality compared to regulations of the Ministry of Health.
