Lingually based triangular flap is an improved flap to limit the disadvantages of the classic flaps commonly used in oral surgery. The flap has sutures on the bone tissue to help heal faster and limit infection. In addition, the effect of flap creation on periodontal tissue around the second mandibular molar is also an issue that needs to be studied carefully. The study was carried out on 30 mandibular wisdom teeth of patients at Hai Phong Medical University Hospital, diagnosed with underground eruption and performed surgery using a lingually based triangle flap to evaluate the results after surgery. Results showed that lingually based triangular flap gave good postoperative results in the group of patients participating in the study in many characteristics: the rate of thread burst - flap tear; degree of swelling, pain, bleeding, and alveolar inflammation and receding gingiva distal to the second mandibular molar.
