Satisfaction of inpatients treated at 115 Nghe An General Hospital in 2020

A cross-sectional study was conducted on 400 inpatients at 115 Nghe An General Hospital to describe the patient's satisfaction with the quality of medical services. Patients were interviewed directly using a pre-designed questionnaire. The study results showed that patients ≥ 60 years old accounted for the highest rate of 30.5%, the lowest was patients < 20 years old 3.0%; male patients accounted for a higher proportion than female patients (57.3% compared to 42.7%). The overall average score according to the 05 evaluation criteria of the Ministry of Health was 4.75 points - a good level of satisfaction. The average score of patient satisfaction in ascending order: The result of providing service (4.65 points), behavioural attitude and professional competence of medical staff (4.67 points), facilities to serve patients (4.76 points), accessibility (4.83 points) and the highest was the transparency of information, medical examination and treatment procedures (4.86 points). The hospital needs to maintain and continue to improve the quality of medical services for surviving patients.
